Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Holiday Market

Contributed by Linda Myers-Steele, Publicity

The best holiday market of the season is coming soon.  This annual event will offer unique, high-quality items suitable for gifts and personal treasures.  Each vendor provides specialty items including quilting, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, home décor, jellies/jams, and more.  Also, a silent auction, a drawing for handcrafted items made by expert woodworkers, and delicious bake sale.  Your support enables outreach into the community with a Preschool, Mat-Su School District’s Project Life for transitioning special needs students into adult life, hosting Youth 360 an after-school program for middle and high schoolers, Boy Scouts with the largest number of Eagle Scouts in Alaska, and Strong Women exercise program for adults.

Lunch is available from Five Loaves Two Fish Kitchen. Enjoy a meal of soup and sandwiches followed by a treat from the Bake Sale.   Proceeds from the kitchen support meals for the hungry in our community at My House Homeless Teen Resource Center, AMVETS Meals for Veterans, and Youth 360.

This is a fun atmosphere you won’t want to miss.
